We respect your privacy and security. We do not pass on or sell your personal data to anyone.

The personal information you give to us in the course of making a booking is used only by ourselves in communicating with you about your holiday and is not passed on to any other party. It is held via our booking system provider Holiday Bookings Online on dedicated servers using a secure connection (see their website www.holiday-bookings-online.com for their security and privacy information).

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the holiday rental is payable on booking, with the balance due no less than 14 days prior to the arrival date.

Non-payment of the balance will be taken to be cancellation by the client.

If you need to cancel your booking, please inform us, in writing, to the address below. We will be unable to refund your deposit, but you would be welcome to use it to book an alternative date, subject to availability.

Payments can be made electronically by credit and debit card using our secure online booking system. Payments made in this way are operated by Paypal and governed by their stringent privacy and security policy (available to view at their website: www.paypal.com).

Alternatively you can pay by cheque payable to Helen Murphy and posted to The Views, Xirosterni, Vamos, 73008, Crete, Greece. No VAT is charged on the cost of your holiday.

In the event that we need to cancel your booking for whatever reason, your payments would be returned in full, but no additional compensation for loss of holiday would be due.

A contract will be deemed to have been enteredt into between client and The Views (Helen Murphy) on receipt of the deposit. The contract will be subject to the Terms and Conditions.

We accept bookings starting on any day of the week for a minimum 1 night stay and discounted longer winter lets.

You are welcome at the cottage at anytime after 12-noon on your day of arrival and the cottage is yours until 11am on the day of departure.

We offer a 20% discount for bookings over 14 days. Discounts are applied by the on-line booking system automatically when you enter the dates you require.

Prices are for rental of the entire villa and include all linen and twice-weekly maid service.

Complimentary welcome packs for stays of 5 nights are provided as described below:

• Standard: bottle of wine, fresh fruit bowl, mineral water
• Luxury: champagne, chocolates, bathrobes, slippers, mineral water

The contents of the welcome pack can be altered by arrangement to accommodate your personal preferences.

The villas are designed to comfortably accommodate two adults. Arrangements can be made to accomodate a third person in your party.

Sadly, we cannot accommodate any pets.

The last thing that you want to be doing on holiday is housework and we know it, so thorough cleaning of the cottage is included in the cost of your stay as is a twice-weekly maid service and linen change.

We do know that accidents can happen and we won’t be charging for any breakages that happen during normal everyday use, which is not to say that we won’t quibble if you throw the television out of the window. However, please let us know if anything does get broken, so that we can replace it for the next guests.

We really appreciate feedback - so tell us what you have enjoyed at The Views.

Please let us know if there is anything that you are not happy with, so that we have the chance to put it right as soon as we can. In the event that you had a complaint about any aspect of your stay we would aim to make an initial response within 24 hours, hopefully resolving the issue to your satisfaction.

We make every effort to accurately describe The Views, its facilities and the contents of the complimentary pack. We have a rolling programme of maintenance and improvements to the villas; while we endeavour to keep the pictures on our website up to date, it is possible that there will some differences between the pictures shown on the website and the villas as you find it (hopefully in a good way). From time to time it may be necessary to make substitutions to the contents of the complimentary pack, but these would always be with another item of equal or greater value.
